It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Naaunta "Beauty" Atkinson, a beloved mother and luminary figure known for lighting up any room she entered. Beauty was born on September 21, 1969, and sadly left us much too soon, on December 31, 2023.

Beauty lived up to her name in every imaginable way. Radiating a vivaciousness and joy that few could match, she was a buoyant soul whose passion for life was infectious. Always the life of the party, her warm and bubbly personality was a beacon of positivity for those around her.

She is survived by her daughter, Deja Favors, Ashli Serrano, Alexis Torres & her only son David Favors Jr. whose love and admiration for their mother exemplify the strong family ties that Beauty vigilantly upheld. The loss of her presence will be felt immeasurably, as her sweet nature and outgoing character have left an indelible mark on those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Among her greatest accomplishments, Beauty believed that nothing compared to the joy of having children. Her heart held immeasurable love for her family, and it is in them that her spirit will continue to live on. Her legacy of success, underscored by resilience and perseverance, is one that her beautiful children will carry forward. 

In many ways, Beauty's greatest legacy is the profound impact she has left on her children. She made mistakes like any other human, but  the mistakes she made made her children into the strong people they are.  Each of them embody the lessons she instilled, her boundless love, and the strength she demonstrated in the face of adversity. They, and indeed all those who knew her, will miss Beauty dearly.
