Myrtle "Sis" Belle Popham Murphy, age 91 of Greenacres, FL passed away peacefully at home with her kids by her side on April 26, 2020.
She was born in Ludlow, KY and is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Lloyd Pat Murphy. She is survived by her children, Mike (Judy) Murphy, Dennis (Becky) Murphy, Debbie (Tom) Werts and Patty (Robert) Sparkes, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Sis was an RN at Hialeah Hospital for over 35 years. Nursing and caregiving was who she was. She had many friends in her Buttonwood community and was a member of Union Congregational United Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking and baking for everyone, dining out, playing bingo and cards, going to the casino and shopping! She loved her family fiercely and will be greatly missed.

A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made In Memory of Myrtle Murphy to:
