Coleen, Patrick, Donovan, MS. Viola, and all of Myron's loved ones, I am just heartbroken with you. I loved that pointy-headed tuba-playing kid from Youth Ministry days and felt so privileged to continue to be in touch with him. I can not bear the thought that you lost Kelly just a few months ago and now Myron. You will all be in my thoughts. I know that death sucks and it will be a long time before anyone's normal returns. <3Anne Marie Z.

I know there are a lot of fun stories out there that feature Myron so I'm going to get things started here. I can assure you that Myron would want us to remember the fun/funny/exciting times!! He would NEVER want us to dwell in sadness about his passing.
This is a copy/paste from my Facebook post from September 15, 2009. Just one of many examples of how you could not panic Myron!! Nothing moved him to a state of panic or even anxiousness! He always said things like, "What good would it do me to worry?" or "What good would it do me to panic?"
So…Monday night I’m on the phone (around 9pm) and walking thru the house to my back deck. On the way, I hear a noise in the kitchen. I peer into the kitchen and have to double-take, as I believe I see A FLIPPIN’ POSSUM standing on my sink!!!
I of course run out of the kitchen back to the living room yelling that there’s a f’in possum in the kitchen—what do we do!!!???!!! I scoop the kids up and virtually throw them onto my bed (they had fallen asleep in the LR watching football). Myron goes to the kitchen and cannot find a possum…he thinks I imagined it.
It takes almost a whole hour before the thing started making noise/moving around again…hiding in the kitchen cabinets. Myron finally hears the noises/finds the possum—woo hoo! I’m not crazy 😉 (well, at least I’m not hallucinating)The little bugger was hiding and we couldn't get him to come out. We tried calling animal control but at that time of night, they redirect you to the police. 20 minutes later we have two Leonardtown police officers standing in our kitchen. One says, "Well if the dang thing would come out and flop around or something I could shoot it!" (can you imagine!!! haha) So the police officers left and within another hour or so, the little guy started trying to tour more of the kitchen cabinets. Myron finally eyeballs him and finds away to catch him! (I'm standing on a chair kinda freaking out but had to make sure I videoed the capture!)
So…here’s the video of Myron CATCHING the possum and trapping him in a pot.
