Myrna Thompson, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and devoted woman of faith, passed peacefully into eternal rest on June 14, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on March 11, 1939, Myrna lived a life marked by grace, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to her faith.

A lifelong churchgoer, Myrna drew strength and joy from her relationship with God. She began each day with prayer and her Bible close by, finding peace and purpose in the Word. Her gentle spirit and steady love were a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Deane, and her son, Mark Harris, as well as four grandchildren: Darryl, Victor, Chanel, and Hannah. She also leaves behind four great-grandchildren, each of whom brought a sparkle to her eye and warmth to her heart.

Myrna had a sharp mind and a love for puzzles—especially crosswords and word searches—which she tackled daily with enthusiasm. She enjoyed reading scripture, tending to her beloved houseplants, sipping Perrier water, and delighting in her favorite meals, like a good salmon feast or a comforting plate of spaghetti. And if there was one thing she loved as much as a quiet morning with her Bible, it was a lively afternoon spent shopping—whether she needed anything or not.

Now resting in the presence of the Lord she faithfully served, Myrna’s family asks for your prayers as they celebrate her Homegoing and give thanks for a life well lived.
