Myrna's obituary

Myrna P. Francis, 75, passed away on Sunday December 10, 2023 in Camp Hill, PA.

Myrna was born on August 2, 1948 in Willikies, Antigua, West Indies to Philbert and Asseleta Adams. She lived briefly with her family on the island of St Croix: US Virgin Islands prior to relocating to Buffalo, NY. After her marriage to her husband, Shelton E. Francis, together they relocated to York Haven, PA, and lastly York, PA having lived there over 40 years until her passing. Myrna worked as a director in Early Childcare until she retired.

Myrna was a long-time member of Stillmeadow Church of the Nazarene in York, PA where she served in many ministries. She had a wonderful childhood growing up with her siblings.

She leaves to celebrate her life, her daughter; Clydiene Francis, son; Camron Francis, grandchildren; Cole Francis, Case Liverman, Ciya Liverman, Anthony Klee, Azrielle Ra, and Malachi Symester, siblings; Estella Chambers (Bernette), Joslyn Ward, Elma Parker (Curtis), Esther Sargent (Paul), Samuel Adams (Stephanie), J. Edison Adams Sr.; 7 nephews, 7 nieces, 5 great-nephews, 4 great-nieces and a host of friends and acquaintances who also live in Antigua and Canada.

Myrna was preceded in death by her husband; Shelton E. Francis, parents; Philbert and Asseleta Adams, sister; Lilette Diamond, brother; Wayne Adams, and niece; Nandini Diamond.

A final committal service will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery 60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003; Friday, February 2nd, 2024 from 1:30pm-1:50pm.
