Myint Myint, born on July 7th, 1973, in Nutyun village, Myanmar passed away on September 4th, 2024, in Snow Camp, North Carolina. She was the beloved daughter of Sein Khin & Chit Phyu.

Ma Myint was a loving partner to Ko Tin Aung Moe, who were together over 25 years. She was a devoted mother to her two daughters,

Khin Shwe Aye and Khin Than Nay, a proud grandmother to Leo Kyo Soo Aye and remaining grandchildren in Thailand.

Her journey started in Myanmar to Thailand Maneelweh camp. She arrived in Oakland, California in 2001 and relocated to Durham, NC in 2003.

She worked at UNC-CH as a housekeeper for 15 years. Then she opened her business, Little Burma Asian Market in 2015. Afterwards she became a homemaker.

Aside from her dedication to support her family and serving others, Ma Myint was also a talented cook and loved working in her garden. She expressed her creativity through the meals she cooked and the green thumb she possessed.

May Ma Myint’s vibrant soul now rest in peace, knowing that her legacy of compassion and love will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
