My son's obituary
It is with the deepest sorrow and much love that we mourn the untimely passing of our beloved son, Veney, on October 7, 2024. Born on February 13, 2017, Veney's vibrant and joyful spirit touched all those around him during his brief, yet meaningful sojourn in this world.
He is survived by his loving mother, Kayla Neville, and his father, Terry Jean. His radiant smile and tender heart also brought immense joy to his grandmother Joan Neville, his cousin Dian Ohl, his sister Winter, and his aunt Tammy Neville. His memory will forever remain etched in their hearts.
Veney was an ardent lover of pizza, with a sweet tooth that always had room for chocolate milk. His contagious laughter could often be heard during episodes of Spongebob or while watching his favorite movie, Aladdin.
He was deeply passionate about drawing and singing, expressing his vivid imagination through these art forms. An avid fan of soccer, Veney found delight during interactive Wii sessions and was a fervent follower of the sport.
His favorite performances included Mikey Mouse, Paw Patrol, and SpongeBob. Curling up with his mom for a movie or a bedtime story was one of his most cherished activities. He also found joy in outdoor activities, particularly playing soccer and visiting the beach for family vacations.
Locally, Veney loved to spend time at places such as Chucky Cheese, Pizza Hut, Dollar Tree, and Walmart. His favorite color was blue, a hue as bright and joyful as his personality, which was best described as bubbly, funny, and smart.
Veney taught those around him the importance of kindness and being helpful. His greatest achievement was earning good grades, a testament to his bright and quick mind. His legacy is a reminder of the joy and love he brought to our lives.
Most importantly, Veney's parents want him to remember that, even though he left this world too soon, they are immensely proud of him. His mother shares, "You are the best thing that has happened to Mommy's life and I miss you so much. Mommy will always be here no matter what; you are my love, my heart, and I can't explain how proud I am of you. You left us too soon, our Valentine's baby, born February 13, right before Valentine's day."
Our hearts ache with the loss of Veney, but we take comfort in knowing that his light will forever shine in our memories and hearts.
