Joseph “Murphy”, Santino “Tino”, and Augustus “Auggie” Gassett each and unexpectedly gained their wings in the early AM of July 18, 2020. Murphy died a hero.
We want to honor them at this time and reflect on all of the laughter and joy they have brought into this world. Murphy was a hard working single father who always put his kids first. He was raising his nephew Auggie but as he always said “That’s my son, I don’t care what anyone says, he has two dads!”
He was a proud carpenter and electrician by trade. He loved spending his spare time watching movies, Taking the boys out with his fiancée Lisa, and getting together with family.
He always seen the good in people, was always there for a helping hand or support, and made friends everywhere he went.
Tino was full of life, laughter and a crazy amount of energy. He loved to be around everyone! He loved mc Donald’s happy meals, playing at the water park, and going to school. He loved to randomly call people on his dads phone to have conversations with everyone and to check up on you. His favorite show was power rangers and he enjoyed helping his dad take care of his little brother.
Auggie could brighten your day with his contagious smile. Everywhere he went eyes were on him because of his happy demeanor. He loved sneaking snacks and eating them under the bed. He looked up to his big brother, copying everything he did. When his dad would clean the house he would get his toy broom and help sweep. He loved to color and go on walks.
They were full of love, and brought joy everywhere they went. We will miss them terribly. We know that nothings has changed with them but what was once here on earth, they are making new stories now forever in heaven as they look down upon us, the ones they loved, smiling and telling us to not fret because they are ok, and are alive in our memories.
