We regretfully announce the passing of Munya Aekins of Austin, TX on January 07, 2024. Munya was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully.
Munya, loving and dedicated mother to a family of four children, Makia, Carie, Deshannon and Dominick and two grand children Faith and Wynter, who she loved deeply, she was brought into this world on March 06, 1978, to Debra Aekins and Darrell Elmore. She leaves loving sisters Maya and Saquala, Also nieces and nephews. Munya poured herself into her family, community and friends. She was an Eastern Star sister and dedicated her life to helping others.
Munya requested services be held and that her ashes be with her loved ones. In lieu of flowers, please send monetary donations in her name.
