Muhamad's obituary

Muhamad Ibrahim, aged 75, of Collegeville, PA, passed away peacefully at his home on December 1, 2023 after a two-year long battle with Idiopathic Pulminary Fibrosis (IPF). He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Manjula, his sister Johara, his son Ajeeth, his daughter Banu, and his son-in-law James.

Muhamad moved to the US in 1989, and spent the majority of his career working at Vanguard at its Malvern offices. During his retirement, he spent his time trail walking, volunteering at Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy, listening to Tamil classic music, and tending to his pride and joy: his garden.

But if you asked him, he would consider his greatest accomplishment his family. Muhamad was a devoted father and husband, who spent the better part of his life supporting his family -- whether that be driving them to travel basketball games, sitting front row at school plays and orchestra recitals, and accompanying them on international adventures. He will be missed dearly by his loved ones.

To honor Muhamad's life, friends and family gathered on December 4, 2023 at the Islamic Society of Greater Valley Forge for a short prayer service, followed by a burial at the Valley Forge Memorial Gardens.
