Thank you so much for everyone's support during this difficult time.
Daniel was passionate about supporting our youth to create opportunities through education. To reduce the financial barriers of college for working-class families, he had the idea to create a scholarship fund to help students offset some of their living expenses. He wanted to reduce the stress and worry that cause students to struggle or leave without a degree.
He saw education as a game changer for families. His experience at Cheyney University planted the seeds of his becoming an entrepreneur. He also saw how his investment in his daughter's education benefited the larger community.
His family will work with Cheyney University to create a named scholarship in his honor.
In lieu of flowers, we'd appreciate it if you could donate to the new Daniel Woods Legacy Scholarship fund. Your funds can help us help more deserving students at Cheyney University. Contribute
