Mozell Emmer, 75, of Sparta, WI (formerly of Peoria, IL), died Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 1:08 p.m. within her residence.

She was born July 28, 1946 in Peoria, IL to Robert and Clara (Folliway) Veatch. On February 20, 1963, Mozell wed John P. Emmer in Peoria.

Mozell is survived by her three sons; grandchildren, Cassandra Emmer, Joshua (Kimberly) Emmer, Zay Neff, D.J. Emmer, Aaliyah Neff, Danielle Lass, and Arie Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Jayda Emmer, J.J. Emmer, Easton Emmer, and Unique McElroy; sisters, Wanda Parks and Shirley Blair. And One daughter-in-law, Francis Emmer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents; son, John Emmer, Jr.; and sister, Jeanette Veatch.

Mozell worked as a CNA for several years. She also enjoyed working as a camp host at Camp Comfort While In California. She loved classic country ,Expecially Loretta Lynn, She loved singing,spending time with loved ones, and cooking for holidays. She was a loving caring person who would do anything for anyone.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2022 at Lutheran Cemetery of Peoria, IL.
