SMOKEY's obituary

Morris "SMOKEY" Pitzer, age 78, A long time resident of Junction City Oregon passed away August 25, 2022. He is survived by his 4 Daughters, Linda Pitzer, Malinda Qualls, Lila Warner & Lisa Pitzer, His 16 grandkids, His Brother Timothy Pitzer, His several Nieces & Nephews, several family members and friends, He was predeceased in death by his loving wife and partner of many years Barbara Sue Pitzer, His Mother Lucille Haynes, His father Del Pitzer,  His 2 brothers, James (Jim) Pitzer and Harley Lynn Wiglesworth, His daughter Cheryl Lynn Pitzer, His dog Bud and Mother in law Mavis Webb,  SMOKEY was born at Sacred Heart hospital in Eugene Oregon in October of 1944,  He lived in San Diego Ca. in the 1970's, Worked in The Ship Yard in San Diego, He moved Back to Oregon in 1984,  SMOKEY met and was married for 33 yrs. to the love of his life Barbara Sue Pitzer.  worked for the 4J school dist, at Church Hill H.S. for several yrs. and retired, SMOKEY  enjoyed camping, hiking, hunting, fishing. SMOKEY may have had some struggles mostly with his health and dementia, but lived life to the fullest. He loved and had a passions for collecting guns and knives. motorcycles, his dogs, buy sale and trade, his happy place was ACE Buyers on 99 in Eugene, and yard sales. He would do almost anything for his friends and family,  loved [subject]. He made everyone who knew him laugh, he loved to joke in a very sarcastic way, The come backs fueled him. Our family is so very grateful to know that SMOKEY is finally at peace and with his love,  A celebration of will be held Sunday, September 4th. 2022 at Dexter Lake,
