My name is Randy Benjamin. I am brother to Molly's mother Benjy. I first met Molly as a baby in diapers.
I came to Ptown only rarely. I remember one trip that brother Scot and I came visiting around Thanksgiving. Molly was 11 or so. I watched her washing dishes, and noticed she was using cold water to rinse. So I gave her shit about that. " Molly! You gotta use hot!"
My wife Allison was onboard my truck when we were near the Cape. Benjy and Molly came to pick us up to spend a few nights. We got to see Benjy's clam beds.
Molly came out to Durango Colorado soon after her cousin Sebastian was born. She and Allison took the baby hiking in the nearby mountains. I'll post a picture ( if I can figure out how).
She and college buddies came through Durango again soon after graduating University of Vermont. Having four college girls in the house was a minor riot, and great fun.
I came to Ptown when Benjy died. Coty was only 3 1/2. So I got to spend time with Molly and Coty, and my Aunt Beverly was there then, too.
But our next meeting wasn't until this last September when I came to the Cape to visit. I was so glad to see Molly again. And meet Coty as a young man. I am much impressed with him.
I cannot believe she is gone so soon. I greive for my neice. And I grieve for Coty. It is hard, so very hard to be orphaned so young.
