Mollie's obituary
Mollie was the youngest daughter of Trish, and the only child of Mike. She entertained us constantly as a little kid, whether it was her particular eating habits, carrying around her “night-night,” or her refusal to ever go to bed.
Mollie was a person full of contradictions. She was fiercely independent, and yet she craved a close relationship. She would sing in front of a crowd at King’s Dominion, but she would be too shy to put in her order at a restaurant. She was extremely intelligent, but she rebelled against traditional education.
On May 15th, 2012 she gave birth to Killian. He was, and continues to be, a mirror-image of her. His eyes, his smile, and his sensitivity and love for animals come directly from her. On June 17th, 2013 she gave birth to Malaiya. People commonly asked if the two were twins, and they are great buddies together. Malaiya has Mollie’s hands, her wit, and her stubbornness. Killian and Malaiya were her greatest achievements.
We won’t know what else Mollie could have achieved. She had so many interests and she was always planning something. 29 years wasn’t enough for her to get it all done, but now the world has Killian and Malaiya because of her. We love you, Mollie.
