Mohsen's obituary
Mohsen Ben Kahia, 40 years old, of Salinas, CA, passed away on January 4th, 2022.
Mohsen was born in the beautiful country of Tunisia on April 7th, 1981. He graduated top of his class from the Tunisian Naval Academy in May 2005. Mohsen worked as a Computer engineer at the Tunisian Naval Research Center until March of 2009. He then came to the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA where he earned his Master's degree in Computer Engineering. From 2009 to 2011, Mohsen played soccer with the Naval Postgraduate School soccer team and was an active member in our community.
In 2015, Mohsen and his wife Faten decided to come back to the United States where they raised their son Yassine their daughter Yasmine in Salinas, CA.
Mohsen loved his small family and always wanted his two kids to have a great education here in the United States. That is why his wife, Faten, decided to stay in the United States and raise her kids to fulfill Mohsen's wishes.
Mohsen will always be missed but Yassine and Yasmine will always remind us how awesome Mohsen was.
