Personal note from Family

Celebrating the Life of Mohan Ephraim Alapatt

We're here to remember and celebrate the life of Mohan Ephraim Alapatt, who passed away on 21 July 2025 in Bangalore. Mohan was a beloved husband to Elizabeth, a devoted father to Rishika, a cherished son of Lizzy and Ephraim, and a loving brother to Rena, Meena, and Neena.

Born on September 17, 1963, in Trichur, Kerala, Mohan's early childhood unfolded amidst the serene beauty of Munnar, where his father worked with the Tata Group. The family later moved to Bangalore, where Mohan spent his formative years at St. Joseph's Boys High School and College before pursuing engineering at PSG College in Coimbatore.

Mohan followed in his father's footsteps, beginning his career with the Tata Group at Tata Chemicals in Mithapur, Gujarat, and later joining the Titan Group in Bangalore. His entrepreneurial spirit soon led him into the jewelry business. He was also a key part of the team that created Geist, a leader in craft beer.

Mohan lived life to the fullest. He was a beacon of positivity and fearlessness, always following his heart and instincts. He had a passion for hiking, travel, and fitness, maintaining a consistent routine of Yoga and Pilates. He cherished his time at his ancestral home in Karanchira, a tranquil riverside property, which he lovingly restored, even bringing their vintage Ambassador car back to life. Mohan's infectious energy drew people to him; he loved being with others, and in turn, everyone loved being with him.

Mohan touched countless lives, and he will be profoundly missed by his family and a vast circle of friends. May he rest in eternal peace. We extend our deepest sympathies to his family and friends, wishing them strength and courage during this immeasurable loss.
