With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Mohamed Abubeker, who departed this world peacefully on September 16, 2025 surrounded by the love of his family.
Mohamed was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a pillar of strength within his community. He is survived by his beloved wife Fatima Haji, 13 children, and 50 grandchildren, each of whom carry forward his legacy of kindness, resilience, and unwavering faith.
Born in Harar, Ethiopia Mohamed lived a life rooted in humility, wisdom, and service. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family and nurtured values that will continue to guide generations to come. Known for his gentle spirit, strong principles, and quiet generosity, Mohamed touched the lives of many—always with a warm smile and open hands.
Beyond his dedication to his family and faith, Mohamed was an avid football fan and a lifelong supporter of Chelsea Football Club. Whether it was watching matches with his grandchildren or debating line-ups with friends, his love for the game brought him joy and connection throughout his life.
His home was a gathering place of love, filled with laughter, storytelling, and the joy of family. He was a man of deep conviction and integrity who lived by example and led with love.
Though he is no longer with us, Mohamed Abubeker’s legacy will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus and bring peace and comfort to his loved ones.
