I will never forget Mitchell at the craps table in Las Vegas during our NSM for BD. Mitchell thought he had the hottest hand and knew more than the dice and was so proud of his 4 hour run and $120 winnings. He was so great to be around, and simple to please. He thought he was the man those few days. I couldnt help but make fun of him.
I wore a shirt last week from The Southerner that I bought while in town for Mitchell’s funeral. My promise to myself and Mitchell would be that I would wear it anytime it was clean, and remember him every time I put it on. I have done that, and it has been my favorite mint colored t shirt ever since that day. That shirt has been on my back through many cool experiences and I told a story about my buddy Mitchell and the meaning of “catch and release” to a new friend I met in Belize last week. He was carving wood and was moved by the impact losing a friend had on me.
Mitchell, you are remembered by me and my family and your goodness lives on. You were an incredible friend and I wish we could have shared more times on a boat together so I could show you what a real lake looks like in Minnesota and we could have wakesurfed a long wave together. 🤙🤙
I wish your family the best!
