Hello Angel, I met you and he in Ardmore, Oklahoma back in 2006 or so. He called me out of the blue, asking if I would be interested in restoring a Pawnee airplane at King Aerospace. Said, I was the only man on the planet who worked on these airplanes. I dropped everything, left North Carolina and met him in Ardmore. We hit it off from the first minute. We had more than aviation in common, we loved playing music (guitar). One evening he, Vic and I stirred up a musical storm playing for hours!! That man could play!!! We talked about how he was heart broken losing his PRS guitar. A few years later he let me know he was able to get it back...I was thrilled. One weekend you, Vic, Dana and I headed out to a local park in Ardmore, where we kicked around for a day. I distinctly remember he looking at you with a love no one could touch. I have no doubt you were as special to him as he was to you.
His call to me, launched the business I retired from...restoring antique airplanes. It was his call, encouragement and friendship that inspired me to go into business. Our meeting, however brief created the course of my life. My world is a better place today because of him.
Thanks Dude, may you have blue skies, light winds and full fuel tanks!
God Speed...
