Background
My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer in October. She immediately started treatment and was able to decrease drastically only leaving a spot on her lungs the size of the tip of a crayon in January. By March 13th that spot had grown to the size of a grapefruit, by Friday she was in the hospital with blood sugar spikes, Sunday she became a little confused and Monday the choice of hospice was made. She was able to come home on Tuesday and passed on March 20th less then 24 hrs from coming home. Her wishes were to be planted as a weeping willow in a biodegradable urn 700 miles away at her oldest daughter's property. Any donations provided will help with everything we will need to ensure a healthy willow is planted properly, the transportation of her remains to the property, and celebrate her life. We truly appreciate any help given, as her passing came on so quickly without any warning.
