I am so sorry to hear of Micki’s passing. She fought a good fight and I was hopeful she would kick this cancer. She was always so nice to my daughter, who has Down syndrome. I knew she loved raspberries and shared my bounty with her, as well as other produce from my garden. She was such a generous person and will be greatly missed by many whose lives she touched.
I was so sad to hear that she died. I'm the one she sent the pins to for the Zimbabwe  #2 Special Convention and we were so grateful for her generous contribution towards our goodie bag preparations. Her love therefore spread to many other people across the world as delegates went back home with them. She's been a wonderful online friend over the years, and I can't wait to finally hug her in person in Paradise ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Micki is easily one of my most dear patients, and I have been devastated since learning of her sudden passing.  Although dying isn't something unexpected with metastatic cancer, I believed her 100% when she stated matter of factly that she was going to be around a while.  She secured her place in my heart back during the height of the pandemic.  I was idly complaining that my children's daycare is asking for a container of antiseptic wipes and of course there was none to be found.  Little did I know she went and secured not one but two containers and they were in my office the next time I arrived.  And that's just how she is.  She gave without reservation, whether it was wipes or an ear.  She was a truly bright light and the world here is a little darker without her, but the memory of her indominable spirit will be with me always.
Sincerest condolences on the loss of your loved one. I am deeply sorry for your pain. May you draw strength from the comforting words found at 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4: “Praised be... the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation.”
