Miranda and her husband Dale (as he is referred to) were best friends, she would believe in him when he was in doubt, she encouraged and spoke life into him. Her favorite color was purple but she often wore red, because that was her husband’s favorite color, which was his nickname for her. Her favorite food was Mexican food (burritos and refried beans) and fried chicken. She enjoyed family time with kids. She also enjoyed a good scary movie, when she got the chance because she also loved to work, she was a very persistent, hard working and determined woman. She was always happy and in a good mood, regardless of what obstacles in life may have come, her smile could light up a room. She possessed a goofy and playful personality, always up for a good time with family and friends.  Miranda had an unwavering bond with her big brother Randall whom she called monkey boy and he called her big bird/ kool aide, she loved spending time with him and his family making memories that he now treasures.

We take solace in the hope that Miranda is now at peace and free of worldly pain. Her light will continue to guide us, reminding us of the beautiful soul we were fortunate to have amongst us. We will always carry your memory in our hearts.

Her Journey's Just Begun

Don't think of her as gone away - Her journey has just begun

Life holds many facets

The Earth is only one

Just think of her as resting

From the sorrows and the tears In a place of warmth and comfort Where there are no days and years Think how she must be wishing That we could know today

How nothing but our sadness can really pass away

And think of her as living In the hearts of those she touched For nothing loved is ever lost-And she was loved

Im Free

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free I'm following the path God laid for me.

I took His hand when I heard Him call, I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,

To laugh, to love, to work or play.

Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that place at the close of day.

If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy.

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things, I too, will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.

My life's been full, I savored much,

Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.

Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free.

A viewing will be held at (time), on (day, date) , at (address of funeral home).
