It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Minnie Wingate. Born on February 26, 1926, Minnie lived a vibrant life full of love and laughter before her departure on October 17, 2023.
Minnie's life was marked by her unwavering love for her family, her kind heart, and her irrepressible sense of humor. She was a woman of strong faith, whose open-hearted devotion to God was an integral part of her daily life. People who knew her couldn't help but be drawn towards her warmth and cheerfulness. In every interaction, she embodied compassion and kindness, leaving a heartwarming impact on those fortunate enough to have crossed her path.
Her most profound legacy lies in nurturing and raising her children, an accomplishment she held close to her heart. Minnie believed in the pivot of family and made sure to pass on this significant lesson to the next generation - the importance of unconditional love for one's family. Minnie is survived by her sister Sarah Glover and two children Wilhelmina Wingate-Washington and David Wingate . She also survives several Grandchildren, a multitude of Great-grandchildren and a host of Nieces and nephews. The lives touched by Minnie will forever carry her in their hearts, cherishing the contributions she made to their lives.
