Minnie “Peggy” Louise McMurray Sims, age 78, passed away peacefully the morning of August 11,2020. She was born May 14, 1942 in Blackstock, SC to Henry and Emily McMurray. She was a homemaker who loved to do laundry, iron clothes. She loved her dogs dearly.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary “Pretty” Cathey, Shirley “Fat” Sims, Linda “Lucy” (Billy) Brazell, Diane (Ron) Bass, Nina Sims. The love of her life Sammie Driggers, Her siblings Mary (Jackie) Geddings, Jessie Mae Mathis, Joann McMurray, James McMurray and Charles (Peggy) McMurray. She has 15 Grandkids and 17 great grands. Special son in-law Butch Mclaughlin.

She is preceded in death by her first love Cleveland Knotts. Two sons, Cleveland “Stink” Sims and Charles “Buck” Sims and a daughter Sara Sims. Three brothers Sam, Freddie and Preston McMurray. Great grandson, Carson Mclaughlin.

The family is receiving visitors at 17 Elm street, Greatfalls SC 29055 and a memorial will be held at a later date.
