Minnie's obituary

Minnie Miranda Bolds (Reynolds), affectionately known as “Ran,” was born on May 14, 1953, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mennie (Beene) Jones; her stepfather, A. Chester Hines; great-nephew Trayveon Hines; and her very best friend, Denise Brondino.

Ran dedicated her life to youth and church, finding deep purpose and lifelong friendships through her work at Zablocki Elementary School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was known for her compassion, ministry of music, love for God, sense of humor, and the joy she brought into the lives of those she loved. A gifted minister of music, Ran shared her love for God through singing in the choir, playing the organ, and serving faithfully in her church community. Her spirit of kindness, generosity, and laughter touched everyone around her. Upon retiring from the Milwaukee Public School System, Ran relocated to North Carolina, where she continued to connect with others through faith, music, and love.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sisters, Rosemary (Bolds) Robins, Theresa Hines, and Rita (Hines) Robinson; and her brother, Perry Hines (Veronica).

She is also lovingly remembered by her nephews Maurice “Trey” Bolds (Lesley), Chester Ray Hines, Joshua Holt, Antojuan Hines (Kisha) and Jayden Hines; and her nieces Kiya Bolds, JeTaun Robins, Tiffany (Hines) Giles (Dustin), Jessica Sophia Hines and Chanel Hines. Also remembered with love by Leosha Stones, Dante Bolds, Kayla Love Keene, Vivian Moore, Sherry Beene Sumner, Annette Carini and family, a host of great nieces and nephews, along with many other cherished relatives with whom she shared a special bond.

Ran’s life was a testament to love, faith, and service, a melody that will continue to echo in the hearts of all who knew her🌻
