Minnie "Ludy" Brown, a beloved woman known by many as Ludy but who preferred the name Minnie, was born on January 14, 1940, and sadly passed away on April 25, 2023. She is survived by her children, Lee Roy Brown and Minnie Cowan. Her kind nature and heart of gold touched the lives of many who had the pleasure of knowing her.

During her life, Minnie shared valuable lessons such as the importance of respecting one's elders. Her legacy will always be remembered as one of greatness, and her contributions to the lives of those around her will not be forgotten.

Many will miss seeing Minnie sitting under the tree while enjoying a 211, playfully scolding the neighbourhood kids. Her presence will also be missed on early mornings and late nights spent sipping coffee, engaging in heartfelt conversations, and sharing laughter.

A talented cook, Minnie's delicious flapjacks and impeccable sugar creations will be fondly remembered by those who had the privilege of tasting them. As we mourn the loss of Minnie "Ludy" Brown, we also celebrate the incredible impact she had on the lives of those who knew her. She will be dearly missed.
