Minerva Whitfield went home to Jesus on January 09, 2023 at age 80.

Minerva was born to the late HD and Dora Holder on June 11, 1941 in Parker County.  Minerva met her husband, Frankie Eugene Whitfield in 1958. They married May 28, 1959 and went on to have 2 children, Timothy Eugene Whitfield (son) and Danny (son) and Tina Whitfield.  In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Minerva was also a faithful member of Throckmorton Church of Christ. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. 

 Minerva is preceded in death by HD and Dora Holder, 2 sisters, and a brother. 

She is survived by her husband, Frankie Eugene Whitfield; son, Timothy Eugene Whitfield; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Tina Whitfield; grandsons, Trinity Haggard and Tyler Eugene Whitfield; a brother and sister; and a great number of loved ones. 

The memorial service will be held at Throckmorton Church of Christ on January 13th, 2023 at 11 o'clock in the morning.
