Milton “Russ” Walter Russell Jr.

July 20, 1960 – October 3, 2025

Milton Walter Russell Jr., lovingly known as “Russ,” passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on July 20, 1960, Russ spent much of his life in Maine, though he also called Florida home for a time as well.

Russ was known for his sharp wit, mischievous humor, and a talent for making those around him laugh. As a child, he was famous for pranking his siblings, a spirited nature that carried through his life. Beneath his sarcasm and humor was a kind heart, one that loved those closest to him deeply.

He is predeceased by his parents, Milton and Beverly Russell, and his brother, Michael Russell. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Aimee Russell, who was the light of his life; his sisters, Debra Fleck and Ada Waskiewicz; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Among them, his niece Allison Gagne and her husband Christopher held a special place in his heart, sharing a close and meaningful bond with him.

Russ will be remembered for his laughter, his warmth, and the way he brought humor into every room he entered. His memory lives on in the stories, smiles, and love of those who knew him best.
