Milo Marie Lopez

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Milo Marie Lopez, who left us too soon in October 2024 at the age of 17. Born on November 28 2006, Milo was an extraordinary young man who's kindness and ability to bring laughter to those around him made a lasting impact on everyone he met. His light shone brightly in a world that will feel dimmer without him. 

Milo was a student majoring in neuroscience, passionately pursuing his dream of becoming a doctor. He believed in helping others, not just through his chosen career path but also in his everyday life.  Despite facing challenges at home, with both parents not providing the support he deserved, Milo grew into a compassionate and selfless individual. His strength and grace in the face of adversity made him a truly special and smart person. He never allowed his personal struggles to stop him from caring for others. His friends and family will always remember him for his generosity, always putting others' needs before his own. 

In addition to his academic pursuits, Milo found joy in simple things that brought him peace and happiness. He had an undeniable love for swimming, a hobby that allowed him to feel free and content. He spent countless hours in the water, often enjoying the company of his beloved cousins, with whom he had a close and joyful relationship. Whether he was with them or with friends, Milo's laughter and energy filled the room, lifting spirits and making everyone feel welcome. 

Milo was not just a student, a swimmer, or a friend. He was a beacon of kindness, a source of endless support and a light for those lucky enough to know him. He had a remarkable ability to turn challenging situations into moments of learning and growth, and he never let life's hardship diminish his warmth or the goodness he carried within him. 

Milo's passing leaves a void in there hearts of many, but his legacy of selflessness, love, and resilience will live on in the memories of those he touched. His friends, family, and all those who knew him will continue to honor his memory by living with the same kindness and strength that he shows us everyone day.
