Mildred Ellen (Luce) Lindell, age 80, died on Saturday, April 29, 2023, in Gig Harbor, WA. A memorial service will be held later this summer. Millie was born on October 31, 1942, in Winfield, Kansas to Edward and Mary Jane Luce. She attended school and college in Northern Montana. She was a lifelong educator and obtained a PhD for her career as a teacher, a principal, and a college professor. She met the love of her life in college, Loren Lindell. They were married for over 60 years, enjoying life with lots of travel. Millie and Loren had two children: Larry and Kristen. Millie enjoyed gardening, boating, skiing, and reading. More than anything though, Millie loved her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Loren Lindell; son Larry (Tracey); Kristen (James) Bonnici; and grandchildren, Lorin, Madison, Teah, Wade, Wesley, and Willow, who gave her so much pride and joy. Millie is also survived by her two sisters, Ramona (Jim) Knutson and Roberta (Jim) Morelli. Her parents preceded her in death.
