Millie Ann Ferran passed away on March 16 2023 at 0630 in the morning peacefully in her sleep. She was born June 30 1948 to Frida and Elmer Gates in Palmdale ca. She spent most of her childhood on the family farm. She loved John Wayne and Elvis and had the biggest crush on Dwayne the Rock Johnson. She loved gambling and long drives. In her younger years she loved to run. She often spoke about her high school running days. She had three beautiful children whom she loved deeply but her real passion was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was very proud of all of her kids and grandchildren. She would tell anyone who would listen of their accomplishments. She was the kindest woman that you could ever know. She loved her family fiercely and always gave to whomever was in need. She was the neigborhood Grandma. She was loved by many and loved many. She loved knitting and cooking.She married the love of her life Robert Ferran in 1990 and they shared an amazing life together until his passing in 2003.  She never re married and waited patiently to be re united with him. What a glorious re union it must have been. Millie is survived by: Son Lawrence Eshelman of Victoria Texas, Daughter Mary Nehls of Rogers Ar, Daughter Erica Milliman, Granchildren: Amber and Kenneth Dunlap of Chelsea Ok, Sabrena and Josh Harrington of Rogers Ar, Ivan Chirinos of Ridgecrest Ca. Great grandchildren: Nova Eshelman of Rogers Ar, Heather Harrington of Rogers Ar, Shirley Dunlap of Chelsea Ok. Millie is preceded in Death by her parents Frida and Elmer Gates of Palmdale ca, her husband Robert Ferran of Rogers Ar, and her daughter Shirley Eshelman-Perez of Ridgecrest ca. A graveside service will be held at Fayetteville National Cemetery on April 10th at 130 pm all are welcome.
