Millicent's obituary

Millicent "Mimi" Jackson, 56, of Loganville, GA, transitioned on February 22, 2023, after a long battle with heart disease.

Mimi was born on December 8,1966 to TJ Jackson in Plant City, FL. She was a graduate of East Bay High School (1984) in Gibsonton, FL and studied Business Administration at Florida State University. After leaving college, Mimi entered the workforce and continued to achieve success within several professions, most recently as a Technical Account Manager (TAM) with Ceridian, a job she loved and worked hard to achieve while at Ceridian for 19 years. Mimi was an avid learner and teacher, who loved to share her knowledge with anyone who would listen. She excelled at propping up her family and friends and supporting them through celebrations, trials and tribulations. She never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off her back, and words of encouragement to muscle through tough times. She loved hard and was a loyal friend. Amongst her passions, were learning, gardening and being a world-class grandmother. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy! Millicent was predeceased by her great aunt (Pearl Fleming), aunt (Alberta Churchill), uncle (Joseph Churchill), and brother (Reginald Jackson). She is survived by her mother (TJ Jackson), cousin (Elizabeth Davis), brothers (Rodney Smith, Shawn Ward, Jacques (Cynthia Galindo) Ward), sisters (Natalie (Ronald) Cutler, Regina Jackson, Yoruba (David) Brown), sons (Craig Jackson and Anthony Whiting), her beloved grandchildren (Cahmari Jackson, Cassidy Jackson and SaLia Jackson), niece (Fahjah Haney), nephews (Jabari Haney, Jovan Cutler, Zion-Micheal Brown, Julien Ward) and a host of extended family and friends. We will miss her greatly. The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Mimi's mother and sister's home: 115 Cassady Lane, Lawrenceville GA, 30046.
