Milinda Beth Crawford


February 22, 1962 – May 13, 2025

Milinda Beth Crawford, of Dickinson, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on February 22, 1962, in Memphis, Texas, she was the beloved daughter of Patty Patton and Ronald Windell Doherty.

Milinda was known for her vibrant spirit, sharp sense of humor, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her. She had a deep love for the outdoors—whether she was tending to her garden, swimming in her pool, or BBQ’ing under the sun. Yellow, her favorite color, matched the brightness she brought into the lives of those who knew her. She adored her dogs, but nothing compared to the love she had for her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

She was preceded in death by her beloved children, Tabatha Jobeth Hughey and Chris Hughey, and is now reunited with them at Heaven’s gates.

Milinda is survived by her cherished family. 

Her siblings: Ronald Scott Doherty, Chanjira Doherty, Lisa Mullins and Michele Reich. Her grandchildren: Marissa Reyna, Paul Reyna Jr., Danyelle Reyna, Ethan Reyna, Ryan Hughey, Jeremy Hughey, and Jonathan Sheely. 

Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Dalton Fry, Waylon Hughey, Kohen Hughey, Taytum Sheely, Christian Hughey, and Adikis Hughey.

Milinda’s laughter, generosity, and loving nature will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her. While her absence leaves a void, her memory and the love she gave will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
