Milinda Ann Allen, age 57, of Rome, Georgia, passed away on February 10, 2026.

She was born on November 15, 1968, in Rome, Georgia, where she was also a lifelong resident. She was the beloved daughter of Janie Minge Thacker. She was also the cherished daughter of her adoptive father, the late Danny Jerome Watson, and the biological daughter of Cecil Roberson.

Milinda was a devoted and loving mother to her only child, Jennifer Nicole Allen, and a proud and adoring grandmother. She was a caring sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness, strength, and warmth touched the lives of all who knew her.

She will be remembered for her loving heart, her deep devotion to family, and the comfort and joy she brought to those around her. Her greatest happiness came from spending time with the people she loved most, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

She is survived by her mother, Janie Minge Thacker; her daughter, Jennifer Nicole Allen; her brother, William Gregory Watson; her beloved grandsons, Shawn Adams, Landen Allen, Kaycen Allen, and Watson “Gray” Allen; her cherished granddaughter, Zoey Elizabeth Jane Ely; her niece, Savannah Watson; along with many other family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her adoptive father, Danny Jerome Watson.

Milinda was cremated, and the family will not be holding a formal service at this time. A graveside memorial will be held at a later date once her vault and marker arrive. Details will be shared with family and friends when arrangements are finalized.

Milinda’s love, strength, and beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
