Milicent "Milly"'s obituary
She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY where she aspired to be a veterinarian from a very young age. Although she never received her full degree and did not become a vet, she did use what knowledge she had to help on her uncle's farm during her summer breaks in Pennsylvainia. Anyone that knew her knew of her love for animals and the many that she had. After her marriage ended in 1988 she purchased a farm near Scranton, Pennsylvainia and that is where she spent the remainder of her life with her 3 daughters, Nancy, Suzanne, and Deborah.
By 1990she had married off her daughters and spent the rest of her time raising all of her animals including 2 goats, 6 chickens, 2 dogs,1 cat, and a big pot bellied pig named Brutus.
And then came the grandbabies. Milly loved each and every one of her 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. No birthday was ever forgotten, no recital or game ever missed. Even when her children started to move quite far away she was always sure to call after any event and for every birthday. And she always enjoyed the summers when her "grandbabies" would come to visit her.
She is survived by her 3 daughters 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and a potbellied pig named Brutus.
Milly will surely be missed by all that knew her. We know she will be watching over all of us and we cannot wait to see her again.
Funeral services will be held in private as it was Milly's wishes. Any memory or condolences can be left here on this site. Thank you for all the kind words during this thing time.
