Tuesday August 13, 2013 there will be a Celebration of Life during a service at the First United Methodist Church in Quinlan Texas located near intersections of FM 751 and SH 276.
Service will begin at 2:30pm with coffee and finger food served afterwards.
Papa wanted donations to be made to the local food pantry and can be received at the church same day.

There will be another service in Foreman AR for those family members and friends who were not able to attend the Quinlan Texas service.

Never was a man so loved that we get to publicly honor him twice and across state lines in both of the two places he called home.

Saturday August 24th @1:30 p.m. Community Center Forman, AR to celebrate the life of Papa Milford D Smith. Papa passed away Sunday August 11th and the Celebration of Life in Texas was August 13th.
On Sat Aug 24th @ 1:00 pm a temporary marker will be placed between his parents Ira and Thad at Gravely Cemetery and then we will meet up at Community Center @1:30. The VA will provide a permanent marker that will be dedicated probably around Nov. The temporary marker was chosen from his homestead and husband David inscribed the face of the stone.
