Background
Through the Beckley Area Foundation, Tom and Sherry Cushman created the Traumatic Brain Injury fund in honor of their son Miles after his long battle to overcome his traumatic brain injury that came from a car accident. The income from this fund will support programs related to enhancing the quality of life for persons with an acquired traumatic brain injury.
