Mildred leaves behind a legacy represented in her beloved grandchildren - Avante, Keiontay, Demetrius, and Vanessa Nelson. Her love and teachings continue to live through them - a testament of her spirit and love for her family.

A dedicated attendee at Triumph Ministries, Mildred's faith was a beacon of light, guiding her through life's trials and triumphs. Her devotion has touched many others and will remain a strong testament to her lasting spiritual legacy.

Known for her love of good food, Mildred had a particular fondness for spaghetti and her favorite drink, Strawberry Crush. Those who knew her well will remember her cheering passionately for her favorite sports team, the Miami Heat. More than just a spectator, Mildred was also an active participant in the world of games, loving a good challenge in Monopoly and Spades.

Mildred's favorite pastimes included fishing and swimming, and she always found peace and tranquility in these activities. Her favorite vacation spot was Louisiana, an area she loved for its unique charm and beauty. Her love for the colors blue and purple mirrored her vibrant personality perfectly, just like her favorite TV show, NCIS, and her cherished movie, Waiting to Exhale.

She was a sweetheart, a term that encapsulated her kindness and warmth perfectly. Her legacy will forever be marked by her famous cookies - a treat loved by all who were fortunate enough to taste them. In this way, and in so many others, Mildred touched the lives of those around her in the most beautiful way possible.
