Background
Sunday, December 19th marked the end of our mother's weeklong battle with COVID-19 and has placed a significant and unexpected financial burden on our family during an already fiscally demanding holiday season, and just days before Christmas.
We are allocating all resources available to honor our mother's end of life wishes; However, we were not prepared for her abrupt passing and have attained limited funds to address the quickly mounting costs of laying her to rest and settling her affairs.
During this time, as we work together to bring closure to the many grieving hearts suffering from her loss, we graciously ask those who knew and loved our mother to consider contributing relief funds in her memory to help us lay her to rest. Every little bit will help during this time.
Any donations received beyond the goal will be placed in an interest bearing account for the benefit of Millie's grandchildren. Though our mother will not be able to watch them continue to grow, It was always her wish to provide the best and brightest possible future for them. We believe this commitment will help to honor that wish. We would also like to pass along some contributions as a donation to an outside charitable organization that will be determined at a later time. Contribute
