Mike Payne (previously Peng) sadly took his own life few days before his birthday and was pronounced dead at 116am on his birthday December 25th 2025. He is survived by his son Mickey Peng and estranged brother, Gary Ian Peng. Mike touched the lives of many lives, always the first one to hold out his helping hand with no expectations of anything other than wanting to help his friends. His charisma and energy can be felt as soon as he attends any function. He was a great public speaker having build an organization of over 220 members at age 17. Very little is known about his parents and brother.  He left instructions before the tragic event happened and he would be happy to know that his friends have done as he wished. Authorities questioned about his family and possible cause of the tragic event and friends in attendance at emergency (hospital location not disclosed) did not cooperate following mike's wishes. He often told me we should always continue to grow and try to look at bright side of things when tragic happens. Although that seems impossible atm the upside is before reading his diary and finding a box of confidential materials including a cassette tape I didn't believe him very much but now I know he was a good man and never missed a payment on child support regardless of his financial situation. He has never broken a promise to his son. his last wishes along with other sensitive personal material will be destroyed to give him peace and we will celebrate how he lived life and scatter his ashes at stanley park before after new years along with his dog's ashes.
