Mike Nelson, 62, of St. Louis, MO, passed away on July 27, 2024. 

Mike was born on July 18,  1962 to Rodney (d) and Donna (d) in Maine. He was the youngest of 5 children including Sharon (Nancy), Susan (Raymond - d), Carol (d), and Tammy (d).

Mike was previously married to Cyndy and Monica is their daughter.  He remarried Laura in 2009. He was step father to Nicole (Robert), Maria, Marqus (Amber) and Leisa. He was grandfather to Nora, Isaiah, Jeric, Judah, Elijah, Eva, Aria, and Alora.

Mike was most recently an over the road truck driver after a varied career in being a mechanic on diesels, construction equipment, and wheelchairs. He was partners in a horseback trail riding business.

Mike enjoyed woodworking, playing his guitars along with singing and the harmonica, and watching the St. Louis Blues and Kansas City Chiefs. 

A memorial celebration will be held at First Capitol Lions Club of St. Charles on August 24, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
