Mike was a very down to earth soul and was really resilient all the years I knew him. A humble and practical guy, yet with great depth of character. Growing up with him, he had good taste in music, literature and art and was more loyal than most... 

I will always remember him writing lyrics to songs he constantly imagined and the many adventures we had all through the nineties(too many to mention). His zest for life was undeniable.
