Senior year prom

Sometime in the spring of 2003. A few of us were going to play in a poker tournament. As luck would have it my car died on the trip down stranding us in central Jersey

Mike tried to negotiate with the tow truck driver to take us to AC still but the bid was denied

We got back to Hoboken and Mike instantly went out and got a deck of cards and poker chip. We had our own tourney It was amazing and just another memorable night with Mike and how he always made the best of every situation.

Mike was a friend to me during one of the most challenging times of my life.

He supported me, gave me advice, and most of all he listened. He had a rare quality of unconditional kindness, and the ability to make me laugh with his goofy sense of humor when I was struggling.

I admired the dedication and deep love he had for his children. It was apparent in his actions and words. I will miss you, my friend.

I wish my very best and send love to you his family and his precious children.
