Miguel "Tony"'s obituary
Miguel "Tony" Lopez, born on May 17, 1968, in Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on August 9, 2025, in Owings Mills, Maryland. He was 57 years old.
Tony was a man of many talents and passions. Known for his skill as both a mechanic and a carpenter, he brought dedication and craftsmanship to everything he touched. Whether under the hood of a car or building something with his hands, Tony approached each task with precision and pride.
He found joy in the simple pleasures of life—cruising in his beloved Jeeps, casting a line while fishing, or soaking up the sun by the ocean. His love for Puerto Rico was deep-rooted, and he cherished every opportunity to visit. Hunting trips and time spent outdoors were among his favorite pastimes, but nothing brought him more happiness than being surrounded by family. For Tony, family was everything.
A natural jokester with a big heart, Tony had a way of making people laugh and feel at ease. His presence lit up any room he entered, and his warmth left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know him.
Tony is lovingly remembered by the mother of his children, Raquel Chevere-Santiago; his daughters Ashley Wantz, Noellia Figueroa-Chevere, and Marlyn Chevere-Santiago; his son Bradley Lopez; and his brother Julio Figueroa. He also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends who will miss him deeply.
He was preceded in death by his mother Nancy Harris and father Julio Figueroa.
May Miguel "Tony" Lopez’s memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
