Miguel's obituary
Miguel Galvez-Temoxtle was born on the 28th of September, 1983 and passed away tragically on the 5th of May, 2025. He will be remembered as an individual with a beautiful heart who loved to help those in need and knew how to brighten anyone's day with his contagious laugh.
He is survived by his wife, Rachelle Galvez; his sons, Oliver and Kobe Galvez; his stepsons, Ethan Molina, Keagan Berry, and Mike Molina; his brothers, Isidoro, Silvestre, and Alfonso Galvez; his father, Andres Galvez; and his mother, Christina Temoxtle. His extended family, Sarah McGrath , Brayan and Alex Sanchez, along with his mother-in-law, Bette Bobar, are also left to mourn his passing. His sense of family was strong, and he held his loved ones close to heart.
Miguel tied the knot with his beloved Rachelle in 2013 after moving to Tyler, Texas in 2002. He was a staunch follower of the Copa America soccer team, with his favorite colors, blue and yellow, reflecting his devoted fandom. Music was a deep passion for him, particularly songs from Los Temarios, Lady Gaga, and Adel. His favorite television shows were the ones watched by his wife, and his favorite local spots included his backyard and Pollos.
Never one to shy away from a celebration, Miguel found joy in attending Quinces, weddings, and restaurants that hosted a mariachi band. He also cherished the time spent outdoors with his family and friends, teaching his children how to play soccer and enjoying evenings filled with music and dance.
Miguel not only had a fervor for life but also a commitment to causes he believed in. He was dedicated to saving animals and supporting children's causes. He was a firm believer in respecting mothers and loved sharing his knowledge with the younger generation.
His legacy as a hardworking cook at IHOP, as a dedicated husband and a loving father, is one that will continue to resonate. The love he embraced and radiated made a profound impact on the world and will not be forgotten. The celebration of Miguel’s life will be held on June 7th,2025, at 5:00 PM ,at 401 E Valentine St. His presence is sorely missed, especially by his wife and children. Miguel was the light of our lives, and we will remember him fondly.
