He was born August 3, 1958 in San Miguel, Sonora Mexico to Ramona and Angel Barrios. He was 59. Mike, as he was known, resided in Castroville, California where he grew up with his siblings and parents. He attended Boronda Elementry School, Salinas High School and Hartnell College in Salinas, California. Mike was a loving and generous man who cared for his parents later in life and was always there for family and friends. An avid fan of Elvis Presley, comic books and good food. It is the simple pleasures of life and family that made him the happiest. He will be missed terribly but is now resting in peace with his father, who was like his best friend.
Mike is preceded in death by his father Angel Barrios. He is survived by his loving mother Ramona Barrios, his sister Rosie (Francisco) Martinez, brother Ricardo (Bertha) Barrios, sister Rachel (Brian)McClellan, brother Alfredo (Michelle) Barrios, and Sergio Barrios (Henry Chalian); nephews and nieces, Jennifer (Kenny Sr.) Michael, Shawn, Allie, David, Bobby, Frankie, Jesse, Ashlee (Cameron) Strickland, Joseph, Ramona, Joel, Sonya and Krystal; great-newphews and nieces, Richard, Isabelle, Kenny Jr., Jacinda, Aubree, AnaLeesia Marie, Dimetrie, Zaya, Andrea, Carmen, Joel Jr., Daniel, Nadia, and Noah.
