Very Painful to Say Goodbye.

Tuta Uwan, as I usually called you most of the time. That's what Nijay used to call you when she was a toddler, meaning sister Ubani.

Honestly, any time I try to write this, there's always that feeling of can this be true even though it is. Reason being that recently, we started speaking on the phone regularly and I just called you, we spoke at length few days before the heartbreaking news. It breaks my heart any time I think about you just leaving so suddenly.

However, God is still on the throne. He knows it all. I thank God and give Him all the glory, Amen 🙏 Ubani, you were very beautiful hearted. Always peaceful and pleasant disposition. You were a young woman that embraced peace and patience more than confrontation. Never heard you supporting anything quarreling. You really exhibited the love of Christ. That's one of your qualities that I loved very much. I will really miss you, your smile and laughter that can be sensed even while talking n the phone.

However, since it pleased God, who am I to question His decision. I can only say to Him alone be all the glory, Amen 🙏 You will forever be missed. May your gentle soul rest eternally IJN, Amen 🙏

Meeting you was divine and the adventure that came with it will forever remain with me.

Mie to others but UB to me for life. Though my junior cousin, we were so close. We had several occasions to laugh with few times that we cried to relieve the pains we were feeling. UB nwannem was a great support to the family nuclear and extended. When needs arise in the extended family, she will always call for us to agree on how to solve them. Often times, we will talk to gist about so many things and about everything.

The night of 14th July 2024 will remain unforgettable. We gisted on the Tuesday before and you were excited on the progress being made on the project we were working on and looked forward to being in Abuja for the opening ceremony but alas! my sister, cousin, friend, partner, supporter and energetic UB is gone. I will forever miss you. But rest assured however, that Debra, Cherish and David will be taken care of while I have breathe in me. 

REST IN PEACE my UB.

Anytime I remember what you stand for me, tears runs in my eyes.

Anytime I remember you will no longer be there for me in hard times, tears runs in my eyes.

I am deeply hurt by your departure, words cannot describe how humble you are. God knows the best and that 14th July will come. You didn't die but you were raised to a greater height that no man can describe. 

You lived an impartful life, we will keep missing you. RIP MUM TILL WE MEET AGAIN 

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Lady Mie. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family during this difficult time. Lady Mie will always be remembered for her kindness, compassion, good nature and her bright spirit.

Lady Mie was a wonderful person who touched so many lives. I pray that you find strength and solace in the cherished memories you have together.

She was a true friend and I will miss her dearly. My prayers are with you the children and the rest of the family during this heartbreaking time. “My business encyclopedia and business school” is no more. I will miss your hearty laughter, encouraging words and childlike disposition. You lived and fought bravely even to the end. 

Debbie, may God give you the comfort and peace that you seek at this time and may Lady Mie’s soul rest in peace.
