Midnight Horner was a beloved member of a special needs family, serving as the emotional support animal to Brenden Horner, an autistic 10 year old boy. She loved playing fetch with bouncy balls, chasing flies, playing in the water, and climbing onto things she shouldn’t be on. She loved her treats and attention, and she would tell you all about it. She loved sitting in the sun, going outside and exploring, and talking to the birds outside the window. She would always follow you around wherever you went, and she would cry for attention whenever she was alone. She waits by the door whenever her family leaves, and usually stays there until the moment they come back. She loved being held like a baby and being given all the loves in the world. Her family had to make the dreadful decision of putting her down on Saturday, May 14th of 2022 due to an unknown cause that was making her very ill. She is remembered by her family, including her human parents Kristi and Chris Horner, her two girls Jaelyn(Age 6) and Phoebe(Age 15), and her favorite person in the world, her best friend Brenden(Age 10). Brenden and Midnight shared a bond that could not be matched, they slept together, spent all day together, and always gave each other all the kisses and love they could ever want. Midnight helped Brenden learn how to sleep in his own room, a milestone in his life. Midnight will always be remembered, loved, and missed by her family. Fly high my sweet Angel, we will love you forever.
