Michelle's obituary
In Loving Memory of Michelle Lee Pinard
With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Michelle Lee Pinard, who departed from this world on February 15th, 2024. Michelle's journey on this earth was one of generosity, love, and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Michelle was born on 3 May 1973 in Anchorage, Alaska, the cherished daughter of Paul and Diana Pinard. From her earliest days, she displayed a passion and aptitude for basketball. She would practice into the wee hours of the night. This would lead to her winning many awards and a scholarship to Grand Canyon University where she attended college.
Throughout her life, Michelle was a beacon of strength, facing challenges with resilience and courage. Her unwavering faith and belief in God inspired many, reminding us to embrace each day with gratitude and hope.
Michelle's love knew no bounds, extending far beyond her family and into the wider community. Whether through her acts of kindness, her infectious laughter, or her heartfelt words of encouragement, she touched the lives of countless individuals, leaving behind a legacy of love that will endure for generations to come.
In addition to her boundless love, Michelle was a woman of many passions and talents. She found solace in nature, drawing inspiration from its beauty and tranquility. She could often be found at the Boise River, or hiking the foothills around the city where she would seek out heart shaped rocks to collect and give to family and friends.
She taught herself piano as an adult and would often play a tune for those she chatted with on the phone. An avid reader and lifelong learner, Michelle had a curious mind and an insatiable thirst for knowledge. She approached life with a sense of wonder and curiosity, always seeking to explore new horizons and expand her understanding of the world. She was an avid writer and had several articles featured in local papers.
Above all else, Michelle cherished her family and friends, finding joy in their company and comfort in their love. She leaves behind a profound emptiness in our hearts, but also a treasure trove of memories that we will hold dear forever.
Though Michelle may no longer walk beside us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. As we mourn her passing, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the profound impact she had on each of us.
Michelle, you will be dearly missed, but your light will continue to shine brightly in our lives, guiding us with love and wisdom until we meet again. We know you earned the superman cape you always wanted.
Rest in peace. Your memory will be cherished for all eternity.
Michelle is survived by her father Paul, brothers PJ and Christopher, sister Suzi, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother Diana.
